High End Tour Starts in Tassie
Premier Travel Tasmania is introducing a new level of touring in Tasmania. ‘Tasmania - By Invitation Only’ was developed in partnership with the acclaimed Islington Hotel, the Priory Country Lodge (to open in Bothwell in July) and the Nant Estate Whisky Distillery.
Not surprisingly then, ‘Tasmania - By Invitation Only’ will blend luxury and exclusive activities. The extraordinary Nant Distillery, for example, is not open to the public and tours of it are by appointment only.
‘Tasmania - By Invitation Only’ is a flexible touring package. Apart from their accommodation guests can choose from activities from a menu that includes; fly fishing, golf, private air charter, pheasant hunting, yacht charters, scuba diving, fine dining and shopping for art.
As well as butler service in the hotels, a private tour manager is available to guests throughout their stay. The tour manager and hotel staff work together to ensure guests travel with ease and discretion. Security gating at both hotel properties allows guests to be completely private.
Premier Travel’s owner, Peter Ernst, refined his luxury tourism expertise on the elite Caribbean island resort of Mustique. He and his family moved to Tasmania in 2007. “Tasmania has a unique advantage in the up market travel segment”, explains Ernst. “It is seen as a clean new destination that offers safe travel and a unique combination between comfort and untouched nature.”
Luxury tourism is one of the growth sectors of tourism world-wide. According to Ernst, Tasmania is well positioned as a luxury destination. “With several luxury tourism developments recently opened and several more in the pipeline, Tasmania will gain momentum in the high end market and everyone will benefit,” he notes.
The price for the ‘By Invitation Only’ is:
AUD $3,3,70.00 per person, for two persons
AUD $2,690.00 per person, for four persons
The tour includes two nights at the Islington Hotel and breakfast, one night at The Priory Country Lodge (Bothwell) and breakfast, three dinners, all lunches, one private whiskey tasting, entry to national parks, private driver/tour manager, transport and airport transfers. Activities such as fly fishing , golf etc. are priced according to requirements.
